How to read a Python traceback

Python prints "most recent call last" — the opposite of JavaScript. Read it bottom-up:

  1. The last line is the exception — KeyError, TypeError, ValueError… plus its message. This is what happened.
  2. The frame just above it is where it happened — file, line number, function name, and the source line itself.
  3. Frames above that are the call chain: who called whom on the way there. The bug is usually in the deepest frame that is your code.

Is my traceback uploaded anywhere?

No. This page is a single static HTML file — parsing runs entirely in your browser. Disconnect from the internet after it loads and it keeps working.
