My JSON is too large — minify and measure it locally
API body size limits and AI token budgets both hate whitespace. Paste JSON to validate it, minify it, and see exactly how much you save. Runs entirely in your browser.

Why is pretty-printed JSON so much bigger?
Indentation — every level adds 2–4 spaces per line; deep structures multiply it.
Key spacing — "a": 1 vs "a":1 — one byte per key, thousands of keys add up.
Newlines — one per key, pure overhead for machines.
Minifying removes all of it while keeping the data bit-for-bit identical after parsing. Typical savings: 20–40%.
When minifying is not enough
API limits — paginate, compress (gzip/brotli), or switch to a streaming format.
AI prompts — drop unused fields before sending; the context optimizer does this plus dedupe and secret redaction.
Storage — consider columnar formats (Parquet) for analytics data.
Is my JSON uploaded anywhere?
No. This page is a single static HTML file — validation and minification run entirely in your browser. Disconnect from the internet after it loads.
